History
1972 : Fondation of the Galerie d'art du Parc as a non profit exhibition centre, located into the Pavillon St-Arnaud in the Parc Pie-XII in Trois-Rivières
1974 : Accreditation by the ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec
1981 : The Galerie d'art du Parc moved into the historic Manoir de Tonnancour
Exhibition
Since 1972 : Presentation of a dozen regional, national, and international exhibitions in visual arts each year : different mediums like painting, drawing stamp, photo, sculpture, installation
Since 1979 : Permanent exhibition on display on the history of the Manoir de Tonnancour
Since 1999: Presentation of the Biennale internationale d'estampe contemporaine during the summer every other year
Since 2004 : Presentation of the Biennale nationale de sculpture contemporaine during the summer every two years, even numbered years
Activities
Artistical and historical visits, cultural activities and activities for scholar Groups are proposed.
The Gallery Shop offers precious things for art lovers.
